i received a mail, abouut a story.
decided to post it up.

There was once this very hot tempered boy,
& his father gave him a bag of nails, told him, "everytime
you got angry or had a tiff with sometime, go to the
backyard & nail a nail in the fence." On the 1st day,
the boy nailed 37 nails. Few days later, he learnt to
control his own temper, & day by day, he nailed
lesser & lesser nails to the fence. Later then
he realised, controlling his own temper is much easier
then nailing a nail on the fence. Finally came a day
when he didn't nailed any nails on the fence, &
he happily told his father. So his father told
him this, "For every day that u didn't lost your
temper, you can pull out 1 nail from the fence."
Day by day, time passes, till one day,
all the nails from the fence were gone.
Father bought the boy to the fence,
said, "You've done well son! But look
at all those holes on the fence, they
can never be mended. Just like when you
have a quarrel with someone, when you said
those hurtful words, you will leave a scar
in their hearts, just like the holes on the
fence. Slash your knife on someone's body,
& the wound would be difficult to heal. No
matter how you apologise, the wound
would still be there. You need to know
that be it physical or emotional
wounds, they are the same, they
are both difficult to heal."

if the hole was so easy to mend,
the hurt would'nt be there..
